The Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania has a 10-point lead over this Democratic rival in the race to replace Democratic Governor Ed Rendell, according to a survey on Tuesday.
The Republican candidate, Attorney General Tom Corbett, was favored by 49 percent of voters, compared with 39 percent favoring the Democratic candidate, Dan Onorato, the Allegheny County chief executive.
Corbett was backed by 65 percent of voters who support Arizona’s crackdown on illegal immigrants while Onorato was preferred by 68 percent of voters who oppose the new Arizona law.
Most Pennsylvanians, by a margin of 57 percent, favored Arizona’s new anti-immigration law, the poll said. SOURCE
The democrats did this to themselves and has no one else to blame for their down fall, Obama taking them down along with self! It will be great to see the November elections roll around and even greater to see the 2012 elections so we can evict Obama from the White House!
GOOD BYE ARLEN SPECTER, Its about time people like you are removed from Washington. YOU LOST SO PACK YOUR BAGS AND BE READY TO GO HOME FOR GOOD! OBAMA DIDN”T STAND BY YOU LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD!
In his increasingly uphill bid for reelection, Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., can’t seem to catch a break. He’s a five-term incumbent during a time of fierce anti-establishment sentiment. He’s running as a Democrat, for the first time in four decades, in a year when the party is on the defensive.
And less than one week before a tightening Democratic primary, the White House announced that President Obama will not travel to Pennsylvania to campaign for him. SOURCE
This a good example how Obama helps his supporters and what the rest of you democrats will face in 2012 when Obama himself will be up for reelection or should that be when he’s to be ejected from the White House! Ejected sounds better to this voter! What say you?
This one’s going to blow baby boomers’ minds. It concerns a little-known law dating to Elizabethan England suddenly being enforced with gusto in Pennsylvania. The law can force adult children to pay their parents’ health-care costs.
If Mom and Pop can’t pay, you pay. If they have the money but refuse to pay, you pay. If you don’t, watch your credit rating sink under the weight of a legal judgment that will haunt you for life.
It happened to Don Grant. It can happen to you.
