Mexican Gang Gun Battle Near US Border – Borders ‘Just Too Vast’ to Secure says Obama

Obama do you mean to tell us the American people that our government with you as President don’t have the ability to protect our borders? How in the hell are you going to win the War in Afghanistan if what you say is true about protecting our borders from illegals entering our Country? Thanks Obama for letting us know from your own mouth that you’re a weak unexperienced president. We need a strong President in the White House now!

Gun Battle Near US Border

Twenty-one people are dead in Mexico following a massive gun battle between rival drug and migrant-trafficking gangs near the U.S. border.

Prosecutors in northern Sonora state say the gun battle occurred in a sparsely populated area about 12 miles (20 kilometers) from the Arizona border. SOURCE

Borders ‘Just Too Vast’ to Secure

President Barack Obama says America’s borders are “just too vast” for the immigration problem to be solved with fences and border patrols alone.

He said that a comprehensive solution is needed, instead, urging one that holds everyone accountable, from illegal immigrants to the businesses that hire them.

Obama said the reality is, Republican support is needed to arrive at such a solution. Right now, GOP support is not forthcoming in an election year.

Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl, one of the 11 Republican senators Obama alluded to in his talk, said he had a good reason for his position this time around.

“My constituents have said do everything you can to secure the border first,” Kyl told Fox News Channel. “It’s our job to secure the border, whether or not we end up passing so-called comprehensive immigration reform. SOURCE

  1. Despite current claims by the Obama Administration to the contrary, the border is NOT more secure and resourced than it has ever been. Most Americans know nothing of the Punitive Expedition or the Mexican Border Campaign which occurred 94 years ago and involved more than 100,000 National Guard and Regular Army troops. This was the opening act for American involvement in the Great War and acted as the catalyst to transform our military into a modern force.

Here is a link to letters written by a National Guardsman on the Border exactly 94 years ago. Too bad our politicians are more interested in being politically correct than robustly defending the sovereignty of the United States.
