MCLEAN, Va. Gannett is poised to lay off more than 1,000 employees as the largest U.S. newspaper publisher continues to try to offset a steep drop in advertising sales.
Somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 people will lose their jobs in Gannett’s latest round of cutbacks, according to a story published Tuesday on The Wall Street Journal’s Web site.
Question Obama! Where is all the jobs you promised? Where has all the jobs gone? And where did you spend all the job Stimulus money…GMC and the Big Banks?
