  1. I guess if I was to put the persons religion after every horrible story of killings I hear on the news than christiany would defenitely be the horrific religion. I live in georgia and lot of violence here are done by christians yet we don’t mention that part but just the few times we hear about a muslim we blame it all on the whole body of muslims. Cmon guys, we’re not that ignorant!

  2. seriously: I live in georgia and lot of violence here are done by christians

    Goodtimepolitics: So you have lot of beheading in Georgia there seriously?

  3. To “Seriously”
    If those nasty Christians cut their wives heads off, and if head removal was called for in the bible as it is in another religious text, then the religion of the perpetrator would, indeed, be mentioned in hundreds and hundreds of articles in the MSM.

  4. seriuosly must be kidding there was a preacher in orlando who just conspired to kill his wife and they prosecuted him to the fullest extent possible and i have seen the case on American justice and court TV . evey time its discuused his evangelical background is bigger topic then he is. the other poiny is this case is so under reported it is obscene if a nobody local newscaster killed his wife it would dominate the news for 2-3 days this story you have to look for

  5. Sherwood and McKinney are exactly right. The MSM is reluctant to cover these cases and even more reluctant to connect killing with culture. In discussing Islam, one runs into hate facts very quickly.

  6. Mark Steyn paraphrases famous old tabloid headline.

    The media’s lack of curiosity is in marked contrast to their willingness to propagandize for the launch of Mr Hassan’s station. It also helps explain why the US newspaper business is dying.

    Follow that link to Tim Blair’s blog and a picture of the happy couple. Yes, I know it’s “lookist” to say so, but I always feel worse when the victim is good-looking.

  7. This is very most challenging; in fact challenge is not the word; it is very difficult to express or what to say, really this is one of the very difficult moments of our lifetime to have this happening

    I just don’t have any words to say since I am truly at a loss of words completely. I sincerely hope my perspective is understood for why I am unable to express any words

    I am overcome by profound sadness and experience grief and lament with a sense of extreme sorrow

    Sometimes, I wonder where is Humanity heading? How could this ever happen? How could these things ever happen?

    All our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Family and Children of Aasiya Zubair

    May God give them the strength to face this challenging time with courage; Peace

    With extreme sadness and distress;

    Vashi
